How to Make a District 1 Family (Hunger Games) in Sims 3?

This is a corollary to my earlier article about how to make a District 4 Tribute.

Make a Sim family with a last name that indicates a precious metal (remember, District 1 is the jewelry-making district). Some ideas are Gold, Goldberg, Goldwater, Silver, or Copper. All members of this family must be athletic and toned, as District 1 trains people for the Hunger Games. All athletic outfits must be camouflage colors (for the Hunger Games arena).WH.performance.mark('step1_rendered');

Make a male Adult Sim for the father and give him a name from the list at http://nameberry.com/list/179/Mineral--Metal-Baby-Names. Give him either blond or red hair. Facial hair is up for grabs. Dress him in clothes that would fit the district. Use the traits Family-Oriented, Athletic, Loves the Outdoors, Artistic and Brave.

Make a female Adult Sim for the mother and give her a gem name (Opal, Pearl, Crystal or other such names). Give her an elaborate hairstyle, and use the flashiest jewelry you can get. Give her a dress as her everyday outfit. Use the traits Family-Oriented, Athletic, Artistic, Neat and another of your choice.

Make a female Teen Sim for the tribute and give her another gem name. She, too, must have an elaborate hairstyle and the flashiest jewelry possible. Use subdued makeup (think Glimmer). Think what a District 1 tribute would wear to the Tribute Parade, and imitate that for her everyday outfit. Use the traits Athletic, Artistic, Snob (because she would be a Career Tribute) and either Mean Spirited or Evil.

Move this family into a very luxurious house. Remember, District 1 is the richest district, being right next to the Capitol. You may need to use "motherlode" several times for this.

Put every possible treadmill, sports ball, jewelry-related object and exercise equipment around the house and the yard.

Delete all fishbowls. This would be more District 4 than District 1.

Upgrade all fridges, stoves, and showers to the most expensive ones.

Get the father and the mother jobs in the Business career track. A District 1 adult would be a businessperson making and selling jewelry and other luxury items.As an alternative, you can choose the Professional Sports career track. Get both parents up to Level 10 in cooking. This enables them to cook rich foods.
